Be amazed by the contrasts from Helsinki, the Finnish capital, also known as “The Daughter of the Baltic Sea”, to Finnish Lapland where you will visit Santa Claus himself and learn about the Sámi culture and the nature of Northern Lapland. The tour also includes 3 days on-board the M/S Midnatsol (meaning Midnight sun in English) which is the newest of the many vessels in the Hurtigruten fleet that provides daily services along the Norwegian coastline.

Apart from an unforgettable breakfast excursion to the North Cape, you will also be witness to the many quaint fishing villages, glaciers, fjords and stunning islands along the journey from Kirkenes to Svolvær. This incredible tour would not be complete without an overnight in a traditional Norwegian fisherman’s hut, a “Rorbuer”.

This tour is based on 6 people travelling together – there will be no tour leader travelling from Australia, but you will have expert English speaking guides with you for the sightseeing tours in each city.  There is an option to extend your stay in Oslo at the end of the tour, or travel on to Reykjavik to join the Amazing Iceland tour - This will provide you with an opportunity to see Eyjafjallajokull volcano and glacier, the eruption of which bought European aviation to a stand-still in April 2010.
