Janine McLeod

Janine McLeod's passion for travel led her to wander and work her way through Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe. She spent many years in South America in a variety of diverse roles including teacher, waitress, singer/songwriter, event organiser and tour guide / tour manager. Janine now lives in Sydney and works as a freelance Tour Guide and Tour Manager, and is a travel and tourism teacher at TAFE. For many years she has been involved in developing and delivering various training programs for the travel industry and served on the board of the Institute of Australian Tour Guides. Janine speaks Spanish and Portuguese and leads tours to South America regularly. She is very enthusiastic about introducing her tour groups to the people, places and ways of these countries. She feels a deep connection to South America and has a great understanding of the people and way of life there and a particular love of Latin American music and dance.
